During the past weeks, we’ve been educating you on how to provide in-depth knowledge of our beU by ORGANO skincare line to all your customers. These tips are vital to delivering informed consultations and a better experience.

Missed any of our guides? Don’t worry, here’s a breakdown of what we talked about:

1. Understanding the 4 skin types

Knowing the basics regarding skincare is vital, not only does it allow you to recommend better products but also makes you knowledgeable and credible. You can check again the four skin types: Sensitive Skin, Dry Skin, Oily Skin, and Combination skin.

2. Understand why a skincare routine is important

This will help you sell your products by addressing a common and necessary practice in your customers’ everyday life. Having a consistent daily routine of cleansing, restoring and moisturizing will start showing the results in the long term.

3. Create your customer’s profile

Keeping track of your client’s needs and concerns will help you provide a better experience and recommend the right products for them.

4. Approach each issue individually

There are many skin concerns but here are the ones we identified and feel are most common:

  1. Wrinkles and fine lines
  2. Blemishes and acne
  3. Sensitivity
  4. Texture, dryness, and flakiness
  5. Dullness, blotch and pigmentation
  6. Oily Skin and large pores

If your client identifies with any of the above issues, make sure you are ready to recommend the right product for them. Take the opportunity to teach them about the ingredients, how to use it, and upsell a secondary product if it makes sense to do so.

5. Follow up

Following up with your clients and checking in to see how they are enjoying their products, if they have any issues or even just questions on when or how to use the products they purchased will help you build rapport with your clients and get to know them better.  It also will build trust and support your business in the long term and may promote referrals which will only grow your business further. Don’t be afraid to ask for referrals either, clients love to talk about good experiences and good products.

If you follow these simple steps, not only will you become an exceptional consultant, but you’ll be paving your way to success with your customers.
