We’re exploring the most common skin issues and how to solve them with beU by ORGANO.  Today we will be discussing two common skin concerns: blemishes and acne. Join us and learn how to deliver a different experience to your customers by exploring and understanding their main skin concerns.

The causes of blemishes and acne

Blemishes are those little scars or spots that appear on the skin due to several other issues. There could be many causes for the blemishes on your skin: extreme sun exposure which leads to burns and patches. Hormonal changes and reactions also produce wounds that leave permanent and deep scars or even not cleaning your skin properly every day.

Blemishes and scars can also be produced by acne. According to the Primary Care Dermatology Society (PCDS) of the U.K. acne can manifest in different forms, from black and whiteheads on your skin to greasy skin that leads to red bumps, nodules or even cysts. The common denominator is the excess of grease produced by the sebaceous glands, in response to the weather, lack of hydration or hormone problems.

The lack of proper hygiene on your skin can derive in acne, especially if you don’t remove make up every night before going to bed, touch your face too often or don’t clean it too often in extreme weather conditions.

A poor diet can also contribute to these painful and nagging spots: too much sugar, greasy foods, dairy products or lack of hydration can lead to breakouts. The American Academy of Dermatology found that the consumption of low-glycemic foods could help in acne reduction treatments, since the reduction of sugar spikes in your blood could lead to fewer irritation problems, hence, low acne risk.

How to treat them

Treating blemishes and acne is a matter of habit and small changes in your daily routine.

You can start by keeping an eye on your diet and identifying the foods that may produce inflammation, irritation or breakouts, checking what you eat on a daily basis will help you find those no-no foods.

Now, to prevent the excessive grease that leads to acne and may derive in blemishes, cleanse your face regularly. This will help remove the oil and bacteria that can cause infections. The Manuka Cream Cleanser by beU is ideal for this! It cleanses, hydrates and nourishes your skin thanks to its hero ingredients: Manuka Honey, Aloe Vera, Vitamin E, Castor bean and Mandarin oils.

The secret of good skin is clean skin so be sure to cleanse morning and night. Remember to always cleanse the scarred areas last so as not to spread the infection.  At the same time, it is important to change your pillowcase regularly, since dirt, bacteria, and oil could remain there after you sleep, keeping the problem in your face, literally.

Finally, after cleansing, you should make sure you give your skin the nutrients it needs to work properly. That’s where the beU Jojoba Anti Aging Serum comes into action. This wonderful “Liquid Gold” Serum, is an excellent moisturizer for the skin thanks to the powerful mix of Jojoba, Argan, Pomegranate and Borage Seed Oils that support its water balance.

Plus, the beU Jojoba Anti Aging Serum assists in reducing skin redness, fighting inflammations, as well as reducing broken capillaries on the skin.  It also acts as a general skin tonic with its astringent properties, complementing the cleaning process you just did with the beU Manuka Cream Cleanser.

To prevent other side effects of acne, you can complement the treatment with beU Retinol Anti Aging Moisturizer to hydrate and keep your skin radiant, thanks to its active ingredients that diminish the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

Add these products to your skincare routine and keep blemishes and acne under control, your future you will thank you for it.
