We’re highlighting the stories of the most successful X Challenge participants of this year. Today’s story belongs to Gina Corona from Santa Barbara, California.
The need for improvement in her health drove her to accept the X Challenge in July 2018 when her weight was at 174 lbs. Gina’s motivation wasn’t only her will to look and feel her best, but also her children, especially her 16-year-old daughter who was diagnosed with Diabetes, “I want to be an example for my kids, I wanted to feel good and be healthy, they inspired me to become a good role model”.
The hardest part for Gina was to ingrain useful habits in her daily life, “pushing myself to change and be more disciplined with my nutrition was the toughest part, changing habits takes time but it’s possible when you commit to it.” And that compromise with herself was what led her to see the results she is enjoying now, “I’m not the same, I look great and I am in good health, this has changed my lifestyle radically.”
Her life isn’t the same, more successes and challenges come her way and Gina has some pieces of advice to share with all those who want to give the X Challenge a chance, “Never give up, do this for you and put your 100% to it, the results and satisfaction will be yours, no one will be able to take that from you.”
