It’s no secret that physical activity has been shown to increase productivity and feelings of wellbeing, but finding time to exercise while managing your global business with ORGANO™ can be a challenge. It’s time to stop the excuses and increase your everyday physical activity at work, at home and on the go. To help you, we’re sharing a few easy-to-do exercises that require no equipment and can be done anywhere anytime. Now let’s get physical!

Palms Up: March in place and push your palms up towards the ceiling with power. Bring them back down, bending at the elbow until your thumbs touch your shoulders. Increase the difficulty by holding water bottles. (20 reps)

Spread Your Wings: Stand upright then hinge forward from the waist, taking care not to arch your back. With your elbows bent and fists together in front of your body, move your arms back like wings. To really feel the burn, attempt to touch your shoulder blades together. (20 reps)

Knee Lifts: While standing in place, lift your knee up towards your waist and drop your arms down with power while making a fist. When you raise your arms up with power, lower your foot to the floor. (20 reps each side)

All The Way Up: Sweep your arms up above your head and back down again as you step side-to-side, moving as fast as you can. Shouting, “Go All The Way Up with ORGANO!” is optional. (20 reps)

Moving Punch: While alternating from foot from foot, make a fist and punch forward with power, alternating your arms. To reduce the stress on your elbows, don’t fully extend your arms. (20 reps)

Hamstring Curls: First, bend both arms at the elbow and make a fist. Next, bring one foot up and lean slightly backwards. Straighten your arms down as you lower your foot, so hands are up when foot is up. (20 reps)

Desk Press-Ups: Place both hands on the edge of your desk, shoulder-width apart. With your legs stretched out behind you, push off the desk with both hands with as much force as you can, raising yourself down and up again in a press-up. (10 reps)

Jump Up and Squat: Make sure you have plenty of space before you begin. Bend your knees lowering yourself down until you are in a half-squat position with your arms stretched out behind you. Once you’ve mastered that position, jump up with power and swing your arms up in the air like you just don’t care! (10 reps)

Walk The Walk: When it’s time to take a break, get some fresh air in your lungs by doing a few laps if the local park or roads. Try to pace yourself at 100 steps per minute, which should be easy…unless you stop to smell the roses along the way!  (10 minutes)

These simple exercises can be done in practically any environment and require the only equipment you have with you at all times: your body! Anytime you make even the slightest effort to increase your physical activity, you’re helping to make your body stronger and healthier.
