“Sampling is the number one priority, as that is how I find coffee drinkers and business prospects 99.9% of the time.” — Rebecca Wollman.

Every successful Distributor agrees that sampling is an essential step to growing your ORGANO Business. After launching our OGX FENIX Single Serve Sachet, we sat down with some of out top Distributors to ask them how can they take advantage of this new product. Here are some pieces of advice from the experts that will help you maximize your business through sampling just as they did!

OG Distributors know it is important to set goals to yourself. This way, you’ll always know you have to hand samples to a certain number of people to keep your business growing. “I do it every day as my #1 prospecting tool. I have daily and weekly sampling goals that drive me to sample as many people as possible when I am out and about,” shares with us Lois Koffi.

It is also a great idea to give samples to everyone. To do so, you must know you must approach your customers personally to identify their needs and learn what they’re looking for. One of our Top Distributors, Nikki Ideta, supports this idea and recommends listening first and offer the right samples later: “I win customers with each sample, as long as I get to meet with them personally and get to know them, inform them, and answer their questions to the best of my knowledge.”

Nam Do is also on the same page when it comes to getting new customers, and he even has a strategy when he doesn’t have the products with him: “I sample them even when I don’t have samples on me. Using skilled words you can create a desire for the products. People ask me to ship them and gladly give me their contact information.”

Our Distributors also shared some advice for sampling when hosting OG Mixers, as they know these are some of the most effective ways to get customers to try the products:

“During OG Mixers, ALL drinks are mixed — Latte/Supreme, Black/Mocha, Red/Green Teas — as the guests understand that all our beverages taste fabulous together.” — Nikki Ideta.

“I sample EVERYTHING! I give them iced tea when the first show, they enjoy that while I mix up shakes, and then when we are ready for the presentation I hand everyone a cup of coffee the way they enjoy it!” — Rebecca Wollman.

Finally, all Distributors agree that one of the most crucial steps to close a deal is to make your customers feel special. Nam Do, for example, recalls that it was the special attention he got from his sponsor that brought him in to the OG Family: “Mr. Bernstein didn’t just sample me with coffee; he invited me to a Red Carpet Super Saturday Event, gave me a box of Black & Latte, a Gold Magazine, an Organo Drawstring Bag, and thus, I felt like a VIP!”

In the same way, Nikki Ideta and Lois Koffi always pay attention to detail whether they’re hosting an OG Mixers or packing up samples for new prospects:

“Whatever a customer chooses to buy, they all leave with a classy, string-closure pouch, with a good amount of the other products they didn’t choose to buy.” — Nikki Ideta.

“When I mail samples, I like to make it look prettier by putting in retail kits or baggies with my business card and a handwritten personal note.”  — Lois Koffi.

Now that you have read the advice from the experts head out and give away some samples! Just remember to set yourself new goals, give samples to everyone, and treat each and every customer uniquely.
