A year went by, and once again we suited up for Jeans Day this 2018.
No, we are not stuck in the 90’s, nor this is how we usually dress in Canada to go to work. Jeans Day is a fundraiser that originated in British Columbia 26 years ago in support of the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. The donations to this foundation work to purchase life-saving equipment, provide funds for research into childhood diseases, buy food to combat malnutrition, and support a range of staff and community child health education programs.
This May 3rd, in our corporate office in British Columbia, the OG Family joins hundreds of workplaces across our province and the Yukon and dressed all in denim for Jeans Day to support this cause. But we didn’t only wear our best suits today: the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation sells buttons for $5 each to raise their donations and to this initiative, ORGANO™ corporate contributed $3 for every button sold at the office!
