Organo Gold commemorated the opening of its first African country, Nigeria, with an incredible gala dinner and inspirational leadership training on April 25-26, 2015, at the National Art Theater’s Banquet Hall in Lagos. Over 2,000 thousand Organo Gold Distributors from around the world were in attendance along with many special guests and Nigerian dignitaries.
Starting with the Nigerian National Anthem, the atmosphere was quickly ignited by a spectacular acrobatic dance performance from Crazy Legs, one of Nigeria’s finest dance crews. OG Nigeria Country Manager, Mr. Romeo Lagamayo, welcomed everyone as the event got underway. Africa’s Napoleon Hill Foundation representative, Mr. Poly Eminike, discussed the exclusive and unprecedented Organo Gold/Napoleon Hill Foundation collaboration. The Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing, for OG Europe, Ms. Carmen Pratt presented and detailed OG’s exclusive “90-Day Game Plan,“ a business tool developed to help Distributors expand their OG business, maximize their earning potential and attain OG leadership ranks. Mr. Paul Jarvis, OG Regional Vice President of Operations for Europe, CIS and Africa, announced the new Morocco Incentive Trip.
The highlight of the evening was the Distributor recognition. OG Distributors graced the stage and were recognized for their dedication, hard work and achievements. Diamonds Dr. Harry and Carolyn Benjamin awarded the Nigerian Star Achievers & Superstars. Blue Diamond (and fellow Nigerian) Abbey Ikeola announced the Nigerian Sapphire Distributors. Blue Diamond, Joseph Wilson, named the Nigerian Ruby Distributors and Blue Diamond, Edwin Haynes, recognized the Nigerian Emerald Distributors.
It is remarkable to know that Nigerians are relentless in their efforts to put their country on the global map, especially in relation to Organo Gold! The first to pave the way was OG Blue Diamond, Abbey Ikeola. Another Nigerian, Kenny Farinloye, has become the first Diamond Distributor in the UK, as well as a member of the Distributor Advisory Council.
OG Cares Foundation
Abbey shared his message about the OG Cares Foundation, and its activities here in Nigeria, focusing on the sponsorship of House of Mercy Children’s Home or “HOM”. The campaign’s anthem was “It’s Now Our Turn, Because OG Cares”. The children from HOM performed a song written especially for OG Cares, “Because He Lives” and because “OG Cares”.
The Founder, and Coordinator of HOM, Mrs. Bunmi Awoyinfa, attended the gala and accepted a donation from OG Cares. The donation was presented by Ms. Carmen Pratt, Mr. Romeo Lagamayo, and Ms. Queen Komoda.
As the festivities wound down, suddenly everyone jumped to their feet when special guest of honor, Mr. Holton Buggs, Executive Vice President of International Sales for Organo Gold, surprisingly upgraded the donation, in order to help all of the children with their education and future.
Mr. Buggs then spoke about the upcoming “Seas the Moment” ship cruise incentive, and recognized OG Nigerian top point earners for the cruise. Just like Diamonds Abbey and Kenny, it’s remarkable to know that among the 300 distributors who will enjoy the cruise, there will be more Nigerians than any other country around the world!
Mr. Buggs closed the event, and guests were led to the Ballroom of the Oriental Hotel for the Gala Party. It was a buffet not to be missed, with many Intercontinental cuisines, ranging from African to Chinese, not to mention the flowing cocktails throughout the evening. What an amazing way to end a very special day.
On Sunday, April 26th, 2015, returning to the site of the Gala Party, Mr. Buggs presented a world-class Leadership Training, as only he can do. As Mr. Buggs stated, “It would be wise to listen to the manufacturer of a car who has offered to tell you how to use the car, in order to have the best performance of the car.” The extensive training opened and expanded the mindset of those in the audience, to simple and improved ways to run their OG businesses and Leadership Rank! Opening the doors to financial freedom, for every Distributor, left the audience fired up and ready to capture that 1% of the entire Nigerian Market!
