ORGANO™ – the company who’s mission it is to bring the treasures of the world to the people of the world, understands there are no greater treasures in the world than our children!  Universal Children’s Day, is meant to be observed as a day of “togetherness and understanding” between children across the globe. Join ORGANO™ on this special day, to show our children, across the globe, that they are valued members of society, and to remind us all that children need love and respect to grow to their full potential.

“The one thing all children have in common is their rights.  Every child has the right to survive and thrive, to be educated, to be free from violence and abuse, to participate and to be heard.”

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon

Universal Children’s Day & The United Nations – How It All Began: On December 14, 1954 the United Nations General Assembly recommended that all countries institute a Universal Children’s Day as a day of activity, devoted to promoting the welfare of all children worldwide, such as; the right to life, to health, to education and to play, as well as the right to a family life protected from violence, to have their views heard and to not be discriminated against. And, to further promote and celebrate children’s right on this Universal Children’s Day, as well as continuously building up a “living-friendly environment” for children in the world through dialogues and actions

Celebrating Children Worldwide: Many countries, including Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, hold Universal Children’s Day events on November 20th to mark these anniversaries (of the Declaration of the Rights of the Child and the Convention on the Rights of the Child). However, other countries hold events on different dates, such as the fourth Wednesday in October (Australia) and November 14 (India). Universal Children’s Day is not observed in the United States, although a similar observance, National Child’s Day, is held on the first Sunday in June.

The OG Cares Foundation; Our Story:  The OG Cares Foundation recognizes that there are youth who are living without the resources necessary to become skilled adults in their communities and beyond.  Every single youth has the potential to become a leader, but in order to be successful long term, they need support and guidance from those who have experienced success. The mission of the OG Cares Foundation is to support youth by providing them with opportunities to become productive and engaged members of their communities, so that they may initiate positive change for future generations. OG Cares is going to bridge the gap between youth who believe that they have no future with the skills they need to be successful in life.  The OG Cares Foundation realizes that there are youth throughout the globe who are experiencing these struggles, which is why the foundation has a global focus.

ORGANO™ & OG Cares Foundation; Dedicated to Children Across The Globe: A partnership between the OG Cares Foundation and ORGANO™ exists, as both organizations have a vested interest in creating international leaders. In fact, many of ORGANO™’s most successful distributors make it a priority to help others in their communities. The joint purpose of ORGANO™ and OG Cares is to provide the resources and tools children need in order to create positive change, on a global level. With events that have already taken place in the Philippines, China, Canada, Mexico and the United States, OG Cares and aim to impact thousands, if not millions, of youth around the world.

OG Cares Foundation Extends a Hand During ORGANO™  Thailand’s OG One Asia Convention:  Earlier this month, the ORGANO™  leadership team; Founder and CEO Bernie Chua, Co-Founder and Global Master Distributor Shane Morand, and EVP of International Sales Holton Buggs (along with many other OG Family members and Distributors) descended upon Bangkok for the ORGANO™ one Asia Convention in Thailand – while the locals prepared for a big week of national holiday festivals, which take place each year on the first full moon day in November. While the atmosphere in Thailand, and at the Asia One Convention of ORGANO™ in Thailand, was one of celebration – there is no celebrating the fact that millions of children in Thailand (and worldwide), are living without even their very basic needs being met.  On a mission to make a difference, OG Cares partnered with the CCF Foundation (under the patronage of Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhron), to reach out and lend a hand at a local orphanage in Thailand. The children of the orphanage typically go without morning meals, and live primarily on what little food the orphanage can provide. These are children who don’t have clean water to drink, and often drink from water that most would consider contaminated by waste.

OG Cares Gives The Greatest Give of All – The Gift of Sustainability: During their visit to the orphanage in Thailand, OG Cares and the ORGANO™ family planted a garden to help teach the children how to grow some of their own food – and making great strides in becoming sustainable. In addition, honored guests, had the pleasure of serving these hungry children a hot (and complete) meal. In addition, to add some lasting cheer, and leave some OG love behind – their little desks were painted for classroom use.  By far, one of the most epic moments of the trip was when Holton Buggs, and OG Distributors and family members, literally emptied their wallets to donate to the CCF Foundation. The entire OG family was so moved by these children (and the charity itself), it certainly solidified their mission to help all children – globally!

A Picture Tells a Thousand Words – In The Eyes of One Young Boy: The idea that a picture can convey what might take many words to express, may seem a bit unrealistic to some.  However, in this case it is true – one of our ORGANO™ family members was able to capture the spirit of these children – in the eyes of this young boy.  You will surely notice the brilliance in his blue eyes right away, then you may notice that they are slightly diseased – but what many would consider a handicap – this young boy sees it as an advantage, literally, as he states “I can see like a cat at night!”

ORGANO™ and the OG Cares Foundation, believes there is no trust more sacred than the one the world holds with children. There is no duty more important than ensuring that their rights are respected, that their welfare is protected, that their lives are free from fear and want and that they can grow up in peace. We firmly believe that by investing in the youth of today, we will develop international leaders and Distributors of tomorrow – on a global scale! #WeAreOrgano
