Coffee making1 (2)Exciting news today from OG HQ — we’re officially announcing the second OGlicious Recipe Contest.

The second time around, we’ve made the competition even better. We challenge our OG Distributors to create an original recipe featuring Organo Gold products. Then, we ask you to submit your unique recipe/s along with a photo showing the final prepared dish — with the package of the OG product used in the recipe pictured somewhere in the shot. So not only can you get creative with your culinary imagination, you can also show off your food styling and photography skills!

This year’s contest offers a new challenge to participants, who now have the single-serve BrewKups products to help create their recipes. Last month’s BrewKups launch marked Organo Gold’s exciting entrance into the brewed coffee market. Single-serve style coffee has grown in leaps and bounds over the past few years, becoming one of the most popular forms of coffeefor home use.

Last year’s OGlicious Recipe Contest was such an outstanding success, it inspired us to put together the OG Holiday Cookbook. The cookbook was also a huge success, and we were able to donate 100 percent of proceeds to the OG Cares philanthropic arm.

The contest opens today, August 22, 2014 and closes on September 19, 2014. For more details, head to OGlicious Recipe Contest, and for inspiration see last year’s cookbook, which featured everything from coffee drinks and coffee-flavored roast beef rubs to elaborate baked goods and even healthy, Ganoderma infused smoothies.

So get into the kitchen and get creative with your Organo Gold products! Remember — this contest is not limited just to coffee. Think outside the box and use everything from the coffees and hot chocolate to the teas, and even the Ganoderma nutraceutical products (just don’t forget to take the spore powder out of the capsules!).

We’re sure your loved ones will be lining up for the role of “recipe tasters” — and we are excited to see what you create this year for the OGlicious Recipe Content.

Best of luck to all of you — may your OG culinary creativity know no bounds!
