Make snack time matter, take a little extra time to prepare your snacks in advance and take control of what goes into your body, rather than relying on pre-made snacks for the sake of convenience.

Crunchy Kale Chips:
A healthy alternative to greasy chips or crackers – and oh so delicious on the go!
3 Cups Kale (washed and cut into 2” pieces with ribs removed)
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
Preheat oven to 325° F.
Toss the kale with the olive oil and salt.
Place on a baking sheet and Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, mixing half-way through, until lightly crispy.
Mashed Avocado Crisp:
Guacamole lovers will devour this super quick spread and clever combination!
1/2 of 1 Avocado (mashed)
1/4 Cup Fresh Pineapple (crushed)
1/2 Teaspoon Hot Sauce (optional)
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
2 Multigrain Wasa Crisps or Wheat Thin Crackers
Mix the avocado, pineapple, salt and hot sauce together.
Spread over Wasa Crisps or Wheat Thin Cracker – Enjoy!
Skinny Deviled Eggs:
A fast finger food with optimal nutrition and taste – ultra filling and guilt free!
4 Large Hard Boiled Eggs
4 Teaspoons Hummus
1 Teaspoon Dijon Mustard
1 Teaspoon Green Onions
Cut eggs lengthwise.
Remove yolk and place in mixing bowl.
Mash with fork egg, hummus and mustard.
Fold in green onions.
Spoon a tablespoon of mixture into each egg half.
Caprese Stack Snack:
Ripe, fragrant, fresh and hot – this satisfying snack stacks the deck in your favor!
2 Whole Wheat English Muffins (split into halves)
1 Medium Ripe Tomato (cut into 8 thin slices)
4 Teaspoons Sun-Dried Tomato Spread
4 Slices (1 oz. each) Fresh Mozzarella Cheese
1/4 Cup Fresh Basil Leaves
Toast muffins until lightly golden brown.
Place toasted muffin halves on a baking sheet.
Top each muffin with 1 teaspoon of sun dried tomato spread, 2 tomato slices and 1 slice mozzarella.
Broil muffins for 3-5 minutes until cheese is melted.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
Mixed Berry Ice Pops:
Swap out those frozen popsicles full of sugar for these iced dreamy delights!
2/3 Cup Blueberries
30 Small Mint Leaves
1 ⅓ Cups Raspberries
1 ½ Cups Seltzer Water
2 Tablespoons Honey
2 Tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
Layer the blueberries, mint, and raspberries evenly into 6 ice popsicle molds.
Combine the seltzer, honey, and lemon juice in a small mixing bowl, stirring gently until dissolved.
Slowly pour the mixture into the mold – over the berries and mint – then insert sticks into the molds.
Freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
