LaDonda and Andre Gaskins know all too well what it’s like to work hard. In fact, they know all too well what it’s like to feel overworked. Before joining ORGANO™, they were working two full time jobs each. They were tired, stressed, and overwhelmed, but did what they had to do to make ends meet. They knew this life wasn’t sustainable, but didn’t know what else they could do to take their lives back and regain their time and freedom.
Then, six years ago, their lives changed forever when their sponsors sampled them a cup of ORGANO™ coffee. LaDonda wasn’t a coffee drinker, as she couldn’t handle large amounts of caffeine, but ORGANO™ made her feel different. She was intrigued by this coffee and became even more interested when she realized both her and Andre could start making money off it.
“My sponsor told me I was killing myself working the way I was and I needed to come and see a better way to make more money each month,” says LaDonda. “I was familiar with Network Marketing, but Andre wasn’t. He was very skeptical and didn’t want anything to do with the business. After attending a business meeting and seeing all of the others who had testimonials about the product, I knew there was something special about ORGANO™. I explained to my husband that I wanted to join ORGANO™, but only if we joined as a team. He finally agreed and we joined at the Silver level. We sampled and sold so many boxes that we had to upgrade to Gold within 2 weeks!”
However, like many quickstart success stories, sometimes the momentum wears off and people need that additional spark to reignite their passion and take their business to the next level. For LaDonda and Andre, even though they were off to an incredible start, they were still working both of their jobs while trying to earn additional income through ORGANO™. They were overworked and overstressed. They need something to recharge their batteries and help them see the full potential of the OG Opportunity.
So, they booked a flight and attended the Stand United Convention in Las Vegas.
“My sponsor told us that we had to go to Vegas to the ORGANO™ convention so we could see the bigger picture. We only agreed to go because we needed a vacation and we were going to tell them ORGANO™ was not for us as we just had too much on our plate. However, when we got there, we were quite surprised to see that ORGANO™ rolled out the red carpet. Our upline Ruby introduced us to Rod Smith and he opened our eyes to what ORGANO™ was all about. Our life had completely changed from being at the convention. It was the start of our decision to work the business to its fullest potential.”
The Gaskins left Vegas full of energy and excitement and quickly became Dual Team Qualified. They were determined to not let anyone get in their way of achieving their goals and began to take steps to fully commit to the business. Both of them left one of their jobs and used that extra time to not only work their business, but to spend time together as they were finally regaining the freedom to take back their lives and do what they’ve always wanted.
As time went on, they consistently grew their business through weekly events and mixers. They were travelling the world, building meaningful friendships, and finally freeing themselves of the multiple full-time jobs that were taking over their lives.
When 2016 rolled around, the Gaskins business was in a great place but they were ready for the next step. So when ORGANO™ launched OGX FENIX™ at the 2016 EXPO, not only did they see a business opportunity, they saw an easy way to start living a healthier lifestyle.
“When ORGANO™ introduced OGX FENIX™, we knew it was the start of the next wave. Trying different weight loss product was always a thing for me. I have tried other shakes but really didn’t care for the taste. But when OGX FENIX™ was introduced, it tasted more like a dessert in a cup. Because it was so good, I was able to lose 11 pounds in the first seven days and a total of 25 pounds in just six months!”
With a wave of momentum behind them and OGX FENIX™ leading the way, the Gaskins had one more goal before the end of 2017 — become Sapphires. They went to EXPO and saw so many of their peers receive their Eagle Award that they knew they couldn’t wait any longer to get theirs. They created a plan, made a promise to their children, and then worked like crazy to reach their goal. They took advantage of every promotion that was available and began seeing instant results. They hit Platinum Elite within the first week of September, hit Sapphire just 2 weeks after EXPO, and before the month was up, they had climbed all the way up to Ruby.
Not only did they reach their goal, they surpassed it! But, for a couple that’s used to overcoming the odds, they weren’t ready to slow down just yet.
“Hitting Ruby was major accomplishment that still feels like a dream, but we aren’t done yet. We are ORGANO™! The best is yet to come. All roads lead to Diamond in 2018.”
